I´ve been in Rio in march, still summer time here in Southamerica;
it was my first experience in Brazil, and I loved that city; it offer a lot of things to do, beaches, nature, forest, mountains, night, and nice people...
My first day, Copacabana: I arrived afternoon, and from the airport to centre and touristic area it takes more or less one hour by car, always the highway it´s full of cars; at the begin you can see the poors neighborhoods, or Fabelas as they call, but are not so close to the centre town; when someone tells Rio it´s dangerous, all happen in this neighborhood, far from de the centre; crimes and fights of narcos, all happen in the fabelas.. a taxi from the airport to Copacabana cost 30dollars more or less. By the evening it´s easy to walk along the Atlantica Av. that runs alongshare the sea; there´s a market place of handicraft, there´re some restaurants where you can find a buffet dinner for 12dollares, or cheapper in fast foods that sells food for Kilo. Over this avenue it´s located one disco called Help, all tourist go there, and the brazilian women work there "offering services". If you like to dance it´s a place to go.
The 2nd day begins with a breakfast in the restaurant in the top of hotel; all hotels located in front of the beach has it´s restaurant with spectaculars views.. continue
