The whole structure is supported by 260 pillars and 15 domes. Its huge tower consist of five distinctive storeys and each one has been beautifully extended with a balcony. The whole work was taken care of Saadullah Khan, a minister of Shah Jahan.

Creativity is highly showcased in the nook and corner of Jama Masjid. Its wall has intricate carvings and the inscribed sacred verses, that has been taken from the holy Quran.
