So we have landed, and enjoying our new place for the next week or 2, We have not done much other than walk around and doing the dreaded wadi walk, Now if you thinking what is a wadi walk, well, it’s no gentle walk as we were told, but it’s a mountain climb, ESH!!!! it was hectic, however once at the top of the mountain the view is absolutely STUNNING!!!!, mom struggled a little so she didn't make it the way to top, it was a very difficult climb but really rewarding once, completed. The pictures are really random, we will be taking a little more images the next 2 days as we off to see the turtles and then into the desert for some real adventure and dune 4X4'ing. I’m starting to relax, however being in a country we don't speak the language, is very difficult, as you can see in the pictures we took a walk to the scout hall, we had a little tour and where the Omani started there adventure of the scouting trade, very interesting, the building from the outside looks like a tent, very nice architecture in and around the city. You'll see a picture of flowers, these can be found on any side walk through-out Oman, which softens everything up VERY VERY PRETTY. the pictures of the building is from Regans balcony, awesome view!!!, we were lucky enough to see some fighter jets flying over us this morning as air force base is situated about 10 km from us, when we were doing our wadi walk, sounds of gun fire from the shooting range in the air-base echoed through mountains and was slightly intimidating and scary, but ja anyways, So that's really what has happened so far on out trip, I will be in touch soon, but not in the next 2 days, as I will not have any internet access, no sure if there is reception in the desert. :) Go well, go shell. :)
