I traveled to Thailand with no expectation as I know that expecting gives you nothing. http://www.cheapairlines.com gave me the opportunity to travel more cause it saves a lot of budget for me. I get to go down south of thailand first. Headed to Phuket and gave sea canoe a try. IT was fantastic. I loved it so much as I have never tried anything like that before in my life.
I went to Samui Island, the beach was so nice, White sand and clear water the weather is hot but bearable!!!
I went up to Chiangmai for some temples and museums!!! DOI SUTHEP was definitely a sight!
I went to a waterfall near BKK called " SARIKA" it was awesomely fine!! Not crowded and peaceful. I went rafting with some of my Thai friends, it was great fun and the environment was great. Took a train from BKK up to Kanchanabury, it was great.
People in Thailand are so nice and TUKTUK car, you should try it was great fun.
Isaan is where all the food at.
Trekking is a MUST! Down south and also elephant trekking was something new.
I went to ROSE garden to learn some Thai culture through some shows, it was beautiful...
TRY TRY go go and you won't be regret!

I go every year and have driven from Bangkok to Phuket 11 hours but worth i always use www.fastcarhire.co.uk or carhire300 , if you do not have a car the taxis cost a fortune in Phuket
