What else do you need: busy night life if you desire so, family attractions, beautiful beaches, activities such as diving and fishing, a boating paradise.
Not necessarily an expensive destination and plenty of hotels and resorts in Key West to chose from. For a low price budget I can suggest Days Inn Key West.
