This trip was wonderful, I was able to meet my in-laws for the first time since being married for over 8 years. We were able to stay at the Doricol Hotel, with Roberto Carlos right above us. The staff at this hotel went beyond normal to make sure my family and I were very well taken care of. We were able to drive my mother-in-law to Olinda, she was never able to go there before. This is a great old city that I would love to live in.
My husband, Paulo, bought me a surprise plane ride over the northern region of the area. I got to fly around (in the front by the controls, my feet kept hitting the brake...opps LOL) for an hour and a half over some beautiful tropical land, I saw many, many, coconut trees, I saw the huge port, and I loved every minute of being in the little hopper plane.
