laguna beach is the best place to spent the vacations with your family. It has beautiful beaches and other attractive places. I went to laguna beach on my last weekend. There are beautiful attractions in the city. I stayed in a hotel which is among one of the discount hotels in laguna beach. I am discussing here some of the attractions I visited in laguna beach.

On my first day of the trip I visited 1,000 Steps Beach. There aren't really 1,000 steps leading from Pacific Coast Highway down to the beach; there are only about 227. Still, it's quite a hike, especially going up. This is a popular beach for surfers and lovers alike, the latter often going late at night for a romantic evening cuddling on the sand. It's not very practical if you have kids or a lot of things to carry, so just bring yourself and a loved one and enjoy the solitude and the sand. That was all for the day so I returned back to my best western laguna beach hotel.

On my second day I visited Museum of the First People. Parking can be found at the meters on the street. This museum is home to one of the best collections of the Southern California Mission Indian art and artifacts, including tools, pottery, ceremonial items, basketry and art. It is a great place to visit, and makes for an educational learning experience. There is a lot to learn about this special group of people. Then I went to see Sawdust Grounds. Since 1968, this site has been the home of Sawdust, a place where local artists have been thriving. Every summer and winter Sawdust puts on an arts & crafts and performing artists festival that is truly an event to experience.

On my third day I went to Richard MacDonald Galleries. Sculpture by Richard MacDonald is the focus of this gallery. MacDonald is a native Californian and one of the most collected living sculptors in the United States. His bronze sculptures bring to mind the craftsmanship of times past. His works are highlighted in museums and galleries all over the world, and he has his own galleries not just in Laguna Beach, but also in Monterey and San Francisco.
